George Dozier's Lexington Observatory

A number of the photographs in our photo gallery were made at member George Dozier's Lexington observatory using Dozier's Celestron Compustar 14 and an ST-6 CCD camera. Below are inside and outside photos of the observatory. The last image is a 30 second film exposure facing south at midnight with no moon in the sky. It is so bright, the grass even shows as green! The observatory is less than 1000 feet north of a major shopping mall.
