The XV Coloquio Latinoamericano de Álgebra will take place in the Hacienda de Cocoyoc (Mexico) during the period July 20-25, 2003. The highlight of the conference consists of 18 plenary addresses delivered by distinguished researchers in various areas of mainstream Algebra. The two plenary talks in Commutative Algebra will be delivered by
