Mathematical Interests

I am interested in combinatorial aspects of polytopes, triangulations, posets, regular CW-complexes, flag-vectors, and cd-indices. In particular, I am studying a class of geometric opperations on the boundaries of polytopes and other regular CW-spheres that generalize the idea of bistellar flips on simplicial polytopes and how these opperations affect the flag-vector and cd-index. This research is being done with the help and guidance of my advisor Carl Lee.
