I have rethought my position on early homework submission. If you
would like to turn in homework 10 before next Tuesday, I will
accept it. I have a mailbox in room 715 of Patterson Office Tower.
You can put your homework there. However, the room is only open
from 8am to 5pm on weekdays. Class WILL be held on
Tuesday, November 24 and you WILL be responsible for the
material covered that day.

**IMPORTANT**
If you missed class on Thursday, October 8th, please make sure you
view and print out the following document: Presentation Guidelines.
This document covers the expectations for the group presentations
and how they will be graded. There is also a portion for you to
fill out and turn back in regarding who you would like to work
with. I'm asking these be returned by Tuesday, October 13.

Students in MA201 Section 5 (TR 2:00-3:15): There is a typo in the
syllabus handed out in class about the time of the final exam. It
will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 17. This change has
been made on the syllabus linked above.
Students in MA201 Section 6 (TR 3:30-4:45): The final information
given in the syllabus is correct.

MAKE SURE YOU READ DIRECTIONS!!
Each homework assignment is worth ten points. You will receive
four points for attempting every problem. Failure to complete
even one problem will result in a loss of all four points. The
remaining six points will come from correctness on a few select
problems. I will denote by an asterisk (*) on the homework
assignment one of the problems that will be graded for
correctness. Other problems graded for correctness will be
chosen at random.
