About the GSCC
The first Graduate Student Combinatorics Conference (GSCC) was hosted by the University of Minnesota in 2005. Approximately fifty students and professors participated in the two-day event and featured keynote speakers Richard Ehrenborg and Margaret Readdy. The conference has been held each year since in locations across the country and has hosted many eminent keynote speakers as as listed below. The GSCC has been growing as well, with the 2008 conference in Davis, California drawing ninety participants. Not only does the conference feature prominent guest speakers, but it also gives students the opportunity to present their own research to peers from all parts of the country.
