I am currently the project manager for Partnering to Preserve Racing's Rich History, a joint project between the University of Kentucky and the Keeneland Association to preserve (microfilm) and provide access to (digitize) Keeneland's collection of The Daily Racing Form.
I also work with other projects with UK's Preservation and Digital Programs, including the National Digital Newspaper Program, Oral History, and Kentuckiana Digital Library.
I volunteer with a number of other digital library projects, such as Project Gutenberg Distributed Proofreaders and eBookForge.
I am also a PhD student in mathematics, studying the computation of primary singular vectors of a large image matrix for use in fast facial recognition.
