USER'S GUIDE
------------
	There are two primary ways to view the data on this CD: Using a web 
browser (such as Netscape Communicator or Internet Explorer) or browsing the 
CD itself (such as using Windows Explorer).

	Option #1 -  To use a web browser to view the CD contents:
		1. Open up your web browser
		   (Note: You do NOT need to be connected to the Internet
		   	  to use this option)
		2. Click on File, then Open and choose the Browse option (if 
		   using IE) or the Choose File option (if using Netscape)
		3. Navigate to the top of the drive letter containing the 
		   CDROM and choose the "index.htm" file
		4. Click OK
		
	Option #2 - To browse the CD directly, double click on "My Computer", 
	  the drive letter containing the CDROM and the subsequent files or
	  folders of interest.
	  
NOTE: If clicking or double-clicking fails to open the files of interest,
	  try clicking the right mouse button when the pointer is over
	  the icon and choosing the "Open" option.  
	  
Please read the section on SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS below.
	

INSTALLATION
------------
	This CD does not require any installation or setup programs.
Instead, it uses whatever software is already available on your computer.  
For a more complete list of software that may be used, please read the 
section on SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS below.


SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
---------------------

	As mentioned above, this CD does not require the installation of any 
software but instead makes use of whatever software is available on your 
computer.  Each presentation includes a video and an HTML file (or web page).
Additionally, a presentation may contain other data files as well, such as 
PowerPoint presentations, Maple worksheets and Geometer's Sketchpad files.
If these programs are available on your computer, then clicking on those
data files should run the associated program to let you view the files.

NOTE: If you are using a web browser and encounter problems with an installed
program (such as PowerPoint), try viewing the files directly (using the
second option under the USER'S GUIDE)

	To view the video presentations, you will need an ASF file viewer,
	such as Microsoft's Media Player (version 6.01.05.0217 or later)

	To view the HTML versions of the Powerpoint Presentations, you will
	need an HTML viewer such as Internet Explorer or Netscape Communicator
	(Versions 2.0 or greater)

	To view the Powerpoint Presentations with animations, you will need
	Microsoft's Powerpoint program, a commercial program not included on
	this CD.

	To view the Geometer's Sketchpad files, you will need Geometer's 
	Sketchpad, a commercial program not included on this CD.

	At a minimum, you will need an HTML viewer (Internet Explorer or
	Netscape) to make use of this CD.
	
HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS
----------------------

	To view the videos on this CD, you will need at least a Pentium CPU
	running at 200 Mhz,  a sound card and Microsoft Windows 95/98/NT/2000 
	with at least 60 megabytes of free temporary disk space.
