How to Enroll in MathExcel Calculus

It is very important that you register for the same sections of MA 113 and MA 193.

Spring Term MathExcel (Calculus II, MA 114)

MathExcel for Calculus II is open to first-year students who take MA 113, Calculus I in the fall term.

The Math Excel sections of MA 114 are controlled enrollment. You must have an override to register. Students who are enrolled in MathExcel for MA 113 will be given a controlled enrollment override to allow them to register in MathExcel for MA 114. They must still meet the prerequisite for MA 114.

Students who begin MathExcel in the spring must request an override. To apply, please send your name, student id number and the Calculus course you plan to take to the Director, Russell Brown, by email (russell.brown@uky.edu). Accepted students will be given overrides to allow them to register.

Register for ONE of the following:

MA 114-008 MWF 11-11:50 am, M 3-4:30pm AND MA 194-008 TR 3:30-5pm
OR
MA 114-009 MWF 9-9:50am, M 3-4:30pm AND MA 194-009 TR 2-3:30pm

Spring Term MathExcel (Calculus I, MA 113)

MathExcel for Calculus I is open to first-year students who meet the prerequisites for MA 113, Calculus I. To apply, please send your name, student id number and the Calculus course you plan to take to the Director, Russell Brown, by email (russell.brown@uky.edu). Accepted students will be given overrides to allow them to register.

MA 113 004 MWF 10-10:50am, M 3-4:30pm AND MA 193 004 TR 3:30-5pm
