Michael Slone

I graduated from UK with a Ph.D. in mathematics in spring 2008. Now I work as a programmer for the UK library system.

Research

I study algebraic combinatorics and discrete geometry and have a strong interest in homological algebra and category theory. Most of my work involves the cd-index, a noncommutative polynomial invariant of Eulerian posets. My advisor is Richard Ehrenborg.
