Supersolvable Lattices and Sn EL-labellings

Abstract:

Richard Stanley first discovered a class of finite lattices called supersolvable in 1972. This talk will define and discuss properties for these supersolvable lattices, particularly proving Peter McNamara's result that a lattice is supersolvable if and only if it has an Sn EL-labelling.
