I've enjoyed having you all in my class. Quiz solutions 1-11 are now posted below. Solutions to the final review are also available. Some of the problems I worked out on last year's review sheet, so I have included a link to that as well. If there is an additional problem you'd like to see, just email me and I'll post a solution for the class. Good luck on your finals.
There is a small typo in problem 9a on the extra credit assignment. See corrected version below. Note that the integral (Gaussian integral) in this problem is a good contender for the world's most important integral.

It is frequently claimed that resonance was the cause of the Tacoma Narrows bridge collapse. This is actually NOT correct and the collapse was caused by a much more complex phenomena (see this explanation). Somehow this myth made it into many physics and math texts and has propagated widely. It is still a neat video however and this disaster taught engineers and scientists a great deal about the complex interactions of real life mechanical systems.
