Rcgi FAQ Tell me about the history of Rcgi: Rcgi is started by MJ Ray (mjr@stats.mth.uea.ac.uk). He released Rcgi 3 (Cardiff) in 1999. He also had Rcgi 4pre (Weston) in 2001 but I am not sure it is ever publicly released. But people are unsuccessful to contact him at the above email address and his web page soon disappeared. (http://stats.mth.uea.ac.uk/Rcgi/background.html) M. Zhou (mai@ms.uky.edu) downloaded the Rcgi before the web page disappeared and modified Rcgi 3a (Cardiff) to work with the new R, and he splits it into two versions: one with graph, one without. Where can I see a running Rcgi web page? http://www.ms.uky.edu/~statweb/ Where can I get all the files needed to run Rcgi (including installation instructions)?: The web page now that host these modified Rcgi codes are http://www.ms.uky.edu/~statweb/ Follow the link at the bottom of the page. This web site also has Octave cgi, a similar project to Rcgi. What is the difference between Rcgi and Rweb? Compare with the Rweb, Rcgi is much smaller - sort of a minimalist version. But it is enough to serve many purposes already. It is also easy to install. You may want to read the README file in MJ Ray's release to see why he started Rcgi when there is already Rweb.
