About Me
I grew up in Ottawa, attended the University of Toronto as an undergraduate, and left Canada to go to graduate school at the University of Chicago. I received my PhD there in 2012, under the guidance of Carlos Kenig. After my PhD, I worked as a postdoc at the University of Jyväskylä, in Finland, with Mikko Salo, and then at the University of Michigan with John Schotland. I joined the University of Kentucky (my fifth university!) in 2015 and have been here since then. All pictures of me on this website are at least ten years out of date, but I do have a portrait below drawn by my (then) 4-year old in September 2025.
