Time & Location: MWF 2:00-2:50, 141 Altgeld.
Office Hours: Wednesday, 4-5:30 (in 330 Illini Hall). Also, if you cannot make it to the regularly scheduled office hours, please feel free to set up a meeting for a different time.
Text: Introduction to Real Analysis, 3rd ed., Robert Bartle and Donald Sherbert.

Test dates (estimate): Final exam: Friday, Dec. 17, 1:30-4:30 AM

Homework: Homework exercises will be assigned to complement the material in the lectures and collected every Friday. You are encouraged to work in groups on the homework, but you must write up your solutions independently. There will be no homework due the week of an exam.
Grading policy: The breakup will be: Homework - 15%, Midterm I - 20%, Midterm II - 20% , Midterm III - 20%, Final exam - 25%. If your score on the final exam is higher than your lowest test score, I will replace that lowest test score with your score on the final. This policy does NOT include missed midterm exams.
Exam policy: No use of notes or any electronic devices (including calculators) will be permitted. Students will not be permitted to leave the room and reenter during an exam. Please plan accordingly.


Disabilities: Students with disabilities who require reasonable accommodations to participate in this class are asked to see me as soon as possible. In particular, any accommodations for exams must be arranged a week in advance and will require a letter from DRES.
