Duc Nguyen, instructor (sections 001 and 002).
Duc Nguyen is an assistant professor of Mathematics who specializes in the area of Data Science, AI, and Mathematical Biology. He received his Ph.D. from University of Alabama and held postdoctoral positions at Michigan State University before moving to UK in 2020. At the teaching level, in recent years he has been involved in teaching Calculus I, Linear Algebra, as well as in developing Machine Learning courses for Department of Mathematics and Actuarial Science at Michigan State University.

John Hall, teaching assistant (sections 001 and 002).
John is a third year graduate student in the department of mathematics. He has been a TA for MA 113, 114, and 213 (calc I, II, and III). John did his undergrad at UVA-Wise and received his MA from Appalachian State University. His favorite hobby is golf.

Sara Janus, teaching assistant (sections 001 and 002).
Sara is a second doctoral student in the Department of Mathematics. She was previously a TA for MA 138 during Spring 2020. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees in mathematics from SUNY Potsdam. In addition to math, she enjoys baking, reading and spending time with her cat Oliver.
