This directory contains the files needed to produce a letterhead in
latex which approximates the stationery specifications in the Revision
to the UK graphics standards manual dated 5/2000. 

These files are written for latex2e and eliminate the use of psfig.tex
which appears to be unsupported. 

To use these files 
   1. Download	   let_head2.sty The style file that contains the
				 letterhead macro
		   logo.ps	 The new UK logo in postscript
		   newblky.tex	 A blank letter template

   2. Make sure let_head2.sty and logo.ps are in the appropriate
      search paths.

   3. Update the directory information (name, address, phone, etc.) in
      let_head2.sty.	   

   4. Follow the instructions in newblky.tex to write a letter and
      latex away.
