The final grade for the course will be based on: |

Usual grading scale:
You are expected to attend every class and to read the
appropriate sections of the text before coming to class. All exams are closed-book. No cheat-sheets and notes are allowed. You must bring your picture I.D. card to every exam. Make-up exams will be given only in case of an emergency or if a valid excuse is given and verified in advance. Homework will be mandatory but it will not be collected; though, the weekly quizzes will be based on the homework assignments. You are free to (and encouraged to) work together on the homework assignments. I expect that you spend about two hours studying for every hour of classtime. I hope that you will find this course interesting and wish you a lot of success. :) :) |

Last day for you to drop a course and receive a 100% refund; Last day to change to a lower level course: February 5. Last day for you to drop a course without receiving a number grade: March 3. Spring break, no class: March 6-14. Common Final Exam: TBA. |
